The tools we use
For our creations, we use only our skill and all the tools that were also used by the historic Master glassmakers of Murano.
Craftsmanship and handiwork contribute to giving preciousness to each of our individual pieces.
What is really important for us to make you understand is that over time, technology has changed and evolved, but the tools we use daily are not. In fact, they are the same "irons" that have been used since this ancient tradition was born.

The names of the glassmaking tools
Some of the names of the tools we use are: "Borsea" (Pincers), "Taiante tonde" and "Taiante dritte" (Round and straight cutters), "Pinse" (Pliers) ["A cat", "Three cats", "Jealousy", "Rigadin", "A thorn"], Ballotton Molds, Rigadin, A Raggio.
Venetian tradition in general is rich in stories, beliefs, and legends.

Artisanal glass shaping
It could not be otherwise for these tools and their often curious names. Whenever a Master created a new working tool, it was customary to give it a certain name based on its use or a specific situation to which that tool was linked.
