How the logo of Vetreria Artistica Rosa was born
Our logo recalls the classic iron of the Venetian gondola, but is enriched by a small detail that is however a significant and precious symbol for our family artistic activity.
The so-called typical "comb" or "dolphin", with its teeth representing the districts of Venice, embellishes the splendid and elegant gondola of the Venetian lagoon.
The symbolism of the gondola's prow iron demonstrates the importance of the Venetian boat as a means of communication to affirm the artistic, historical, and cultural greatness of the city of Venice, and for this dutiful reason we have chosen to use this symbol, in the logo, because it expresses the same value, the origin of our glass art, and the belonging to the city of Venice.
Carlo Rosa created it in the 1980s and initially used it as a signature in his paintings.
The logo was later seen by Giorgio Igne (read here..., famous sculptor of international renown who, among other works, created the "Unknown Carabiniere").

Our slogan was specially devised because all glassworks take shape thanks to our excellent manual skill, the same skill that even starting from an exaggerated, daring, and unique idea inspires us so much that the soul and body of the work itself become tangibly immortal over time.
We have become master glassmakers and for this reason, we can without "damage" forget rules and limits, and this sets us apart worldwide.
